For over 35 years, I have dedicated my life to senior care. From my beginnings as a Med Tech and Caregiver, to coordinating Home Care, supporting families through hospice and the many stages of dementia, my passion has always been making a difference in the lives of seniors and their loved ones. Today, as an Activities Director, I draw on that extensive background and training to go the extra mile for our residents. Whether it’s ensuring that every holiday is the best one yet, or creating meaningful opportunities for our residents and their families to build lasting memories, I believe every moment counts. Seniors are not just my career—they are my calling.

At Marian Estates, we are dedicated to fostering an active and enjoyable lifestyle for our residents. Our diverse range of activities is thoughtfully curated based on the interests and suggestions of our community members. From invigorating fitness classes to engaging poker games, lively bingo sessions, fun card and board games, and enriching bible studies, our calendar is filled with something for everyone. Every month, we celebrate our residents’ birthdays with a delightful birthday party, and we ensure that holiday celebrations and special events are integral to our mission of promoting a vibrant lifestyle.

Our assisted living communities also provide tailored activities and events that cater to the unique needs and abilities of each resident.

Marian Estates Independent Living offers convenient transportation services for our residents to and from local appointments, including trips to Salem. Additional transportation options include hair salon appointments, shopping excursions, monthly outings to Spirit Mountain Casino, delightful lunches, visits to the State Fair, library trips, and excursions to beautiful destinations like the beach, Sisters, Portland, Eugene, and Bauman Farms.

Beyond our regular activities, we host engaging wine socials and themed events that unite our community. With seasonal celebrations and festive holiday meals, there is always something exciting happening at Marian Estates. We encourage our residents to share their talents and hobbies, fostering a vibrant exchange of skills and stories. We believe that every moment spent together enriches our community and cultivates lasting friendships.
