Season’s Greetings to everyone who calls Marian Estates home.
I want to take this opportunity to wish you all the best during the holiday season. I am so happy to have you as a resident of Marian Estates. There is no better time than the holidays to reflect on the year. This has been an unprecedented and challenging year as we continue to adhere to the State COVID related regulations and guidelines I understand how difficult it’s been to have your interactions on and off property restricted. Thank you one and all for your support, patience and cooperation during COVID and the fire.
I do see light at the end of this tunnel with news that a vaccine will be out and available to everyone on a scheduled basis over the next few months. Managers will keep you updated with news from the State of Oregon Health department on the status of vaccine delivery to Marian Estates residents and employees. Our employees have done an incredible job throughout year and for this I am eternally grateful. Please continue to reach out to our employees or Administration should you require further assistance.

Continuing Freeze – Well we have news on what we are and are not allowed to do for the next two weeks. We will have to continue to stay closed down at least until the 17th. A vaccine is quickly on the way and people who live in long term care will be first. This is one time that it will be beneficial to be grouped in with assisted living and memory care as we will be the first to receive the vaccination. I know we all are past ready for that and it cannot come soon enough!
Icy Spots – If you come across any icy spots be sure to call us and let us know so we can de-ice them promptly. It’s cold out there and we don’t want anyone falling.
Christmas Cards – If you are wanting to send a Christmas card to someone on staff you can either bring or send to Sloper and we will see that the person gets the card. Unfortunately we cannot give out staff addresses to anyone. Thank you for understanding.
