Jan’s Health Care Career spans over 35 years in a number of Executive roles within Oregon Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Senior Retirement living; Medical groups, and Health Insurance industries. “My favorite thing about Marian Estates living community is the people who make it their home (the residents) and all of my co-workers or employees who work here. “

JULIE M. DAYTON

CFO/COO

Julie joined the Marian Estates team in 2009.  Her 14 + years of experience in financial services and 12 + years of experience in healthcare give her a unique perspective while navigating all aspects of LTC.  The opportunity to serve the residents and Marian Estates community has only deepened her passion for providing high quality outcomes. Outside of work she treasures time spent with her husband and two kids, camping, gardening, and any other outdoor activity.  Her favorite thing about Marian Estates is the people and the feeling of working both with and for family.

SHAUNA GARZA

Executive Director of Assisted Living
Shauna Garza is a seasoned healthcare administrator with over 20 years in the long term care. In addition to her duties as Executive Director of Elliott and McKillop over seeing day to day operations, Shauna is active in her family’s Dairy Farm. Additionally, she volunteer’s as a 4-H leader in various livestock such as beef cattle, swine, and dairy cattle. Shauna has a passion for horses, showing throughout the year in American Quarter Horse and American Stock Horse Shows.

Dyrel Alleman – Director of Independent Living

Dyrel has always been drawn to working with people and making her community a better place. In 2007, she started working in the medical field as an Office Manager. In 2019, Dyrel came to work at Marian Estates and is continuing to do what she loves. The best part of working at Marian Estates is the family atmosphere and the small-town togetherness that it brings.

HEATHER SILMON

Administrator of Assisted Living

Heather has rejoined the Marian Estates family. She previously worked at the Reece center for 16 years, and left to follow her heart and further her career as a social worker. She did that for several years and has now returned to us as our administrator at our Elliott Residence. Heather enjoys spending time with her family and her animals. Her favorite thing about Marian Estates are her residents and the family like atmosphere.

MAYRA RAYO

Human Resources Director
Mayra joined the Marian Estates team in 2006 and has been in the Healthcare industry for 14 years. The opportunity to serve Marian Estates community has been rewarding for her. When Mayra is not working she loves to spent time with family, camping, kayaking, hiking and taking trips to the coast. Her favorite thing about Marian Estates is the family like atmosphere between staff and Residents.
