The Kiwi Quilters are taking a laborious route to replace the group’s broken-down sewing machine, but it’s a delicious one nonetheless.

Members of the quilting group, who all live at the Marian Estates senior living community, have written and published a cookbook. The women hope to sell enough books to raise funds to replace their aging sewing machine with a new one.

“A Collection of Recipes” is just that. The quilters solicited recipes from other residents of the Marian Estates Community and found themselves with a variety of dishes. There’s something for everyone, from the the standard chocolate chip cookie recipe to odd sounding, but delicious dishes such as tuna fish pudding. Yes, tuna fish pudding.
